When it comes to the feel of your sheets, a big part of that comes from the weave style.
There are two main types of weaves, the percale and what I’m talking about here, the sateen weave.
For this article, I’ve got my six favorite sheets that feature the sateen weave.

If you’re looking for that five star luxury hotel look and feel to your sheets, look no further than Saatva Organic sateen sheets.

Because they’re made with that sateen weave, they’re going to feel very soft, silky and buttery smooth.

Another set of cotton sateen sheets that caught my eye were the Casper sateen sheets.
They’re made from 100% organic cotton and they have that sateen weave, which is going to make them feel super soft and silky smooth.
They have a lower thread count of 280, which is going to allow air to flow through in this weave style that sometimes leave sheets feeling stuffy.
So if you’re a hot sleeper that likes the style of weave, these are the ones to look into.
Casper will sell these sheets in ten different color options and will discount select colors throughout the year. So be on the lookout for a good deal.
The fitted sheet can fit mattresses up to 18 inches tall and for reference, the average mattress height is eight to 14 inches. So that fitted sheet is staying on, especially if you toss and turn a lot.

Puffy
When it comes to bamboo sheets, you’ll often see them made with that sateen weave. And my favorite set of bamboo sheets with the sateen weave are the Puffy bamboo sheets.
And I mean that when I say they’re my favorite. These are the sheets I sleep on every single night and I love them because they’re super breathable, and they’re moisture wicking, so I never sleep hot underneath these sheets.
Bamboo already feels pretty soft, much softer than cotton, so when you pair it with that sateen weave, these feel super soft and silky smooth.

Brooklinen
With luxe in the name, my favorite set of luxury sateen sheets are Brooklinen Luxe Core sheets. They’re made from 100% long staple cotton, which is going to feel super soft, and it’s very breathable, and it’s a very durable type of cotton, too.
The fitted sheet has long and short labels in it to take the guesswork out of dressing your bed.
Brooklinen sells this set of sheets in black, white and black and white color and design options, but if you’re looking for something else, they sell limited designs and color options year round.
Hot and cold sleepers alike should like this set of sheets because the cotton sheets is thick enough to provide some good warmth, but it’s also breathable enough to keep hot sleepers cool at night.

Cloverlane
Sateen sheets are already pretty soft, but some of the softest sateen sheets are from Cloverlane.
These sheets are made with a thread count of 600, and the higher the thread count, the softer the sheets should feel. So these are very high quality set of sheets.
These sheets are made from 100% long staple cotton, so they’re going to be very durable. And they’re antimicrobial, too.

Birch
Birch by Helix makes some great organic mattresses, and the company’s sheets are no exception. My favorite organic sateen sheets are the Organic Cotton sheets from Birch.
The cotton used to make these sheets is GOTS certified. This means that Birch will limit chemicals or bleaches in the production of these sheets, and it’s the gold standard for organic products.
These sheets are going to feel super buttery smooth, and they are a great option for hot sleepers because cotton is naturally breathable, and these sheets have some moisture wicking properties to it, too, which means you shouldn’t feel hot and flooding underneath these sheets.
