If you’re looking for an adjustable bed that’s a great value and has some great extra features, you’ve come to the right place.
I’m talking about the Casper Rise Pro adjustable bed. I’m gonna take a look at its construction, my experience with it, who is a good fit for and who it’s not a good fit for.
Let’s get started.
As the name suggests this comes from Casper, producer of some very popular online mattresses. They have the Casper, Casper Hybrid, Casper Wave Hybrid, Casper Nova Hybrid and many others.
They also have a long line of adjustable bases. They have the Casper Rise, the Casper Rise Pro and the Casper Rise Max.
Here I’m talking about the Rise Pro. Right in the middle of their line of adjustable bases. It has some great extra features.
How does it all work? Let’s find out.

Let’s talk about how to unbox the Casper adjustable base.
It’s very easy. First off, get that box into your bedroom. This box is very heavy. Definitely ask your friend for help. Get it into your bedroom, take off the top of the box and then take out the folded up adjustable base and rest it on the ground with the bottom side up.
You’re gonna screw in all the legs, then flip it right over to the right side. Plug it into the wall and make sure to pair your remote.
Once that’s done, you are ready to go.

How to Use
Let’s talk about how to use the Casper Rise Pro adjustable base.
First off, let’s take a look at the design.
A pretty standard design, You have some fabric around, some foam and a steel frame with adjustable legs for height as well.
Let’s talk about actually using this adjustable base and let’s take a look at the remote.
You have your standard functions for raising the head, lowering the head. Raising the feet, lowering the feet. You also have your flat. So when everything’s up, you can hit that and bring it all back down.
You have your zero gravity and that’s to relieve pressure on your lower back, kind of give you a weightless feeling on your mattress.
Then you have your anti-snore function, it’s going to raise the head just a little bit.
There is also your memory function, which is great. You have memory 1 and memory 2. You can set it up however you like, set that memory and hit that button to bring it back to that position anytime during the night.
You have your massage function as well. It’s going to be the head area and the foot area. You can change the functions of the massage as well.
Overall that’s how to use the Casper Rise Pro.
So now let’s talk about my experience using the Casper Rise Pro adjustable base.
First off, let’s talk about compatibility.
I used it with the Casper Wave Hybrid, the thickest mattress from Casper and it still worked quite well. It didn’t bunch up too much and didn’t rise off the adjustable base when I was using it.
Now let’s talk about the standard features with the Casper Rise Pro.
You have raise the head, so raise it all the way up. Good for watching TV. I like this position quite a bit. You can also put it all the way down.
You can also raise the leg area of the adjustable base, taking your thighs to a 45 degree angle. And of course take it all the way down as well.
You’re gonna have your button for zero gravity. It’s gonna raise the head area a little bit and raise your legs as well, giving you kind of that zero gravity experience. For me it worked quite well, relieved a lot of pressure on my lower back.
It also has anti-snore feature. It raises the head area just a little bit.
Then you have some memory functions to save exactly what settings you like. I love this because I have particular settings I prefer during the nights.
They also have the massage feature. We cannot forget about that. So again, your head area, even through a thick mattress I can definitely feel it. Take it up to medium and high. Very relaxing. Turn it off. Do the same for the foot area. A low, medium and high.
Also extra functions to make a wave function or pulse function as well.
So really cool massage features with the Casper.
Now speaking of noise, it’s actually not too noisy to use. You can definitely hear it, but it’s not as loud as other adjustable bases that I’ve tried.
But speaking about wall hugging, kind of looking at the wall, I got pretty far from the wall. Some adjustable bases actually move towards the wall as you’re raising the head area. The Casper does not do that. So not the best wall hugging with the Casper.
Now let’s talk about the pros, who I think the Casper Rise Pro might be a good fit for.
First off, it’s a good option if you want a very good value.
For a queen size right over eleven hundred dollars. A very good deal for what you’re getting.
It’s also a good match if you want something with massage features. You massage areas on the foot and head of the mattress, and extra functions as well.
And last but not least, if you want something very easy to set up, the Casper is definitely going to work for you. Take it out of the box, flip it over, set up the legs, turn it back over, you’re good to go.
So now let’s talk about the cons, who I think this Casper Rise Pro might not be the best fit for.
First off, if you want something with a longer sleep trial, more time to try it out, not the best option for you. You only get 30 nights to try out the Casper.
Also if you want something with much more advanced features, a very high end adjustable base, you might want to take a look at the Casper Rise Max instead.
And last but not least, if you want something with good wall hugging, you don’t really get that with the Casper. When you rise the head area of this adjustable base, you do move away from the wall.
Now to give you some additional information about the Casper Rise Pro adjustable base.
It comes with free shipping and returns, a 30 night sleep trial, a 10 year warranty. They offer other mattress models, accessories and financing as well.
Now let’s answer frequently asked questions about the Casper Rise Pro adjustable base.
Is the Casper adjustable base worth it?
I think it definitely is worth it, depending on what you’re looking for. If you want something with massage features, of very good value, definitely take a look at the Casper. However if you want something more advanced, you want something with good wall hugging, I probably look elsewhere.
Do Casper mattresses work with an adjustable base?
Yes they all work with an adjustable base, from the Casper element, to the Casper original, all the way up to the Casper wave hybrid.
How long will the Casper Rise Pro last?
Taking a look at its construction, its very nice materials should last between 10 and 15 years.
In the end I think the Casper Rise Pro is a great option if you want something with massage features and something that’s also a very good value.
