What is The Best Mattress For Snoring? Here Are 4 Options!

    awara-mattress

Here I’m going over the best beds for snoring.

Many people are actually surprised to hear that the old saggy mattress you’re sleeping on is actually a cause of why you’re snoring.

So whether you’re suffering from snoring or you’re waking up from a partner who snores, this list could be a great starting point for you to stop the snore.

Right off the bat I want to mention that while a mattress can help you with snoring, it is certainly not a cure and there are other sleep related things that you can try to help you with snoring. Such as getting an adjustable bed frame that can raise your head a little bit at night and open some airways.

Or if you find yourself on your back when you’re snoring, you can try to retrain yourself at night to sleep on your side. That usually helps.

With all that out of the way, I can jump into the review starting with the policies.

    Policies

If you get one of these beds for yourself online, it should start out with completely free shipping. Most of them will show up at your door in a four foot tall box. One even comes full size to you.

But either way, once you set it up, you have at least 100 nights to sleep on these beds and try them out. If you don’t like them within that trial period, you can go ahead and send them back for free, except for one of them.

If you do end up sticking with them, they do come with at least a 10 year warranty.

Of course the policies differ from bed to bed, but these are the general policies that you’ll be getting with any one of these mattresses.

    Saatva

    saatva-classic-mattress

Let’s start this list off with my best hybrid pick, which is the Classic Saatva mattress.

This is the bed I was talking about that doesn’t come to you inside a box. They will actually offer free white glove delivery, which just adds to how luxurious this mattress is.

Just by looking at it you can tell from the european pillow top and the golden embroidery that this is a very nice mattress.

But past its looks, it just has a very classic and accommodating feel. When you lay down on the Saatva mattress, it’ll probably feel a lot like a mattress you grew up sleeping on. But I’d bet a whole lot more comfortable.

It has that very classic innerspring, pillow top feel that I can imagine many people like.

On top of that, the firmness is also very accommodating, because when you’re checking out, you actually get to pick from three different firmness options.

Price wise, you would assume the Saatva mattress is in the luxury tier just by the look of it, but actually after discount, at the time of writing this review, it’s only $1300, which is a great value.

Of course prices and discounts change all of the time, so check their website to see whatever’s current.

    Layla

    Layla flippable mattress

Next up I have the best bed for side sleepers, which as I mentioned, is the prime position to help at least assist with your snoring and this is the Layla mattress.

Typically a side sleeper is looking for a mattress that is on the softer side of the firmness spectrum, so that it can cradle the pressure points of your body, like your hips and your shoulders.

The perk of the Layla mattress is that it is actually a two-sided mattress and each side is a different firmness.

That means that if you’re trying to train yourself to sleep on your side, you can flip that mattress to the soft side and hopefully that will help you stop your snoring problem.

But if it doesn’t help or you just can’t sleep on your side, then you flip it right back over that firm side.

I have the firm side rated at a medium to medium firm, so good for all sleeper types, but especially good for those who sleep on their back or stomachs.

The soft side, I have it a medium soft, which is an ideal firmness for side sleepers.

It will work for other sleeper types as well, although it might be too soft for sleepers who primarily sleep on their backs or stomachs.

The Layla mattress has a responsive memory foam feel, so it’ll contour to your body like a normal memory foam but it snaps back into shape much faster.

It is also very reasonably priced. Right now you can get a queen size for just under a thousand dollars and that’s a really good value considering it comes with two different firmness levels.

    Tuft & Needle

Next up we have my best budget pick, which is the Tuft & Needle mattress.

The Tuft & Needle mattress is a very popular online bed because of how comfortable and affordable it is.

Right now the MSRP for a queen size is just under $700, and it frequently goes on discount. Check their website for what’s new.

Besides that price, this is just an overall comfortable bed. It has a very accommodating soft neutral foam feel that I think will put very few people off.

It’s not dense like a memory foam or too bouncy like a latex foam can be. It’s just light and fluffy.

Firmness wize, I have it dead in the middle at a medium, which is great for all sleeper types, back, stomach, side and combination.

They even recently added a feature where you can spend up a little bit to add an antimicrobial cover to your bed so it can help with allergies and help you overall breathe better at night, which could help with snoring.

The Tuft & Needle mattress is a great option for anyone that’s on a strict budget looking for something ultra accommodating.

    Best Flippable Hybrid Mattress

    Awara

    awara-mattress

Next up I got my natural organic pick, which is the Awara mattress.

I think having a natural organic mattress could be beneficial to your snoring because it could help with your allergies. In turn opening up your airways more at night and helping you sleep.

The Awara mattress is made with nine inches of zone support coils, then above that is four inches of the naturally made dunlop latex, all wrapped up in organic cotton and a natural wool cover.

This bed like most latex beds has a very supportive and bouncy feel. It has that prototypical latex foam feel, so if you’ve ever laid down on a latex made bed in the past, you’ll know exactly how this feels.

Additionally just like most latex beds, Awara is a bit firmer bed. I actually have it rated at a medium firm, which is great for back and stomach sleepers, and it’s especially good for combination sleepers as well, because this bed is so responsive, it takes little to no effort to switch between sleeping positions.

Awara is one of those brands that sets their MSRP exceptionally high and then has heavy discounts.

Right now the MSRP is $2100, but after discount it goes all the way down to under $1300.

Again these prices are current of when I’m writing this article, but prices change all the time, so check their website to see what’s current.

That’s going to wrap up my list for the best beds for snoring.

Of course there are a ton of great options out there for you. I’ve tested all of them, but these were the standouts for this list.

Hopefully this is a good starting point for your online mattress search to help you with your snoring.
