In this mattress review I’m talking all about the Allswell Luxee hybrid mattress.
If you didn’t know Allswell is a brand owned by Walmart and they have a couple different beds. They’re going for basically the good, better best model and the Allswell Luxe is right in that better zone.
It’s not their cheapest bed, it’s not their nicest bed, but it is a really good mattress.
In this article I’m going to tell you everything that you need to know about it, starting with the policies, what the bed will come with if you do decide to order it.
Then I’ll talk about construction, firmness and feel, how much this bed’s going to cost. I’ll talk about a couple things that couples might want to consider if you happen to be sharing the mattress.
At the end I’ll have a final verdict for you so you can answer all the major questions that you still may have at the end of this article, like who is this bed best for and who should ultimately go with the Allswell Luxe hybrid.

Policies
If you order it online, you’re going to receive the following policies starting with completely free shipping.
This is a bed in a box mattress, so it’ll ship to your house in a box and you basically just drag that thing inside, rip off all the packaging and you got a brand new bed that will start to expand in front of your eyes.
This is a hybrid mattress with pocketed coils, so I’ll get to its true firmness rather quickly, but since it does use some memory foams and some other foams in there, you might want to wait a couple hours or maybe even a day to let those foams fully expand and get to its true firmness before you make any drastic decisions with the bed.
Once it is in your possession, you get a 100 night sleep trial and this is basically your chance to try the Allswell Luxe hybrid in your own home, sleep on it, make your decision if you want to keep the thing.
If not it comes with completely free returns, but hopefully you do enjoy this bed and if so it’s backed by a 10-year warranty.
Best Zoned Support Mattress (With Strong Edge Support)
Construction
Let’s move on now to construction, what is this bed made of.
This is a 12-inch mattress and there’s a thin layer of support foam on the bottom. Then you have pocketed coils, a transition layer above that, then some copper-infused memory foam and it’s all wrapped up in a nice quilted cover.
Feel
This construction all adds up to give the Allswell Luxe a softer neutral foam feel in comparison to their flagship Allswell mattress.
This bed is softer, you’re going to get a little bit more sink in because it does use two inches of that copper-infused memory foam.
You’ll slightly sink in but since those pocketed coils do provide a lot of the support, it’s not going to be a really memory foamy bed. I would just say it has a neutral foam feel.
This bed has a pretty accommodating feel. Ithink that most people are probably going to like it.
If you’re a fan of soft neutral foam feels with the teeny bit of memory foam, you’ll probably think this bed is okay.
Firmness
In terms of firmness, I would place this bed right at a medium on the firmness scale, meaning it’ll probably work best for all sleeper types, back, stomach, side and combination.
Firmness in general is a pretty subjective thing, so I usually see that bigger people find beds to be softer because they have more weight. If you’re smaller you might find a bed to be firmer.
But since this bed does use pocketed coils, I see it working for pretty much all body types. Pocketed coils do provide a lot more long-term support and durability and it also gives the bed a nice bounce, if that’s what you’re into as well.
Allswell as a brand does make a couple of different beds and those beds do have some different firmnesses as well.
For Couples
Now it’s time to talk about a couple things that couples might want to consider if you happen to be sharing this mattress.
The first one being edge support. This is basically how well the perimeter edges of the mattress hold up under pressure.
If you like to sleep close to those edges or your partner banishes you to those outer edges, are you going to be okay on the Allswell Luxe?
In general we think it has pretty good edge support. Those pocketed coils combined with the rest of the construction provides some pretty good support on those edges.
I don’t see you falling off this bed anytime soon and I think you’ll be just fine in the edge support department.
Motion isolation is the next thing I should talk about and this basically has to do with how well the bed absorbs cross-mattress movement.
If your partner is getting up in the middle of the night or an animal jumps on, are you gonna feel that motion reverberate through the bed?
In general I don’t think that you’re gonna really feel that motion since those pocketed coils do a pretty good job at deadening motion and there is some gel memory foam I think it performs well in this department as well.
In terms of temperature regulation, this has to do with whether the bed will heat up or cool down on you throughout the night.
In general we think this bed will just sleep temperature neutral. Lots of other factors besides the bed’s sleeping temperature come into play when you’re talking about temperature regulation.
This bed is going to sleep temperature neutral at the end of the day.
Price
In terms of price this is one of Allswell’s major selling points because they provide pretty quality beds for pretty cheap pricing and the Allswell Luxee is no exception.
The queen size goes for around $675 before any discounts.
Allswell as a brand usually does run some promotions. Depending on the time of the year, it could be somewhere in the $500 range after all is said and done.
Verdict
Those are all the main things to consider if the Allswell Luxe hybrid is on your shortlist.
At this point you probably want a final verdict, who is this bed best for and who should ultimately go with this mattress.
I can’t see you going wrong with the Allswell Luxe if you’re looking for a hybrid mattress that has a softer neutral foam feelm right at a medium for a really affordable price point.
